Tardy Policy
Students are expected to be in their seats, ready to learn before the bell rings to begin each period.
Tardy Consequences (per semester)
- 1st-3rd: Teacher issues a verbal or written warning to the student and parent/guardian
- 4th: Teacher assigns detention and contacts parent/guardian
- 5th: Teacher submits a referral for the student to receive administrative detention. Administrator contacts parent/guardian
- 10 or more: Teacher contacts administrator to schedule a conference with student, parent/guardian, and teacher and possible reflective activity assigned
All absences from classes or tardies that are not cleared by a parent within 72 hours are considered cuts and will result in a referral and disciplinary action.
