Reflections Art Program

Reflections Art Program 2026-2027

The National PTA Reflections Program is a national arts recognition and achievement program for students. For over 50 years, Reflections has helped students explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a love for learning. The Reflections program provides opportunities for recognition and access to the arts which boosts student confidence and success in the arts and in life. Since 1969, more than 10 million students across the nation have taken part in this popular PTA program. Each year, more than 300,000 students in Pre K-12 create original works of art in response to a student-selected theme.

2026-2027 Theme

The National PTA Reflections theme for the 2026-2027 program year is "What My Culture Means to Me,” submitted by Sophia Partola from Wilton High School in Connecticut. This theme invites students to explore their identity, heritage, and the unique traditions or experiences that shape them.

Hart students are encouraged to participate in the Middle School (Grades 6-8) and Accessible Arts (Grade 6-12) divisions. Students can submit their completed works of art in one or all of these six art categories.

Reflection Entries

Reflection entries will be due in October 2026. Hart PTSA will publish more information here in August about how to enter and by when, but for now, start thinking about your entry. Get ready to let your creativity shine!
