School Site Council
Being a parent member of Hart’s School Site Council is a great way to have an impact on the school with minimum time commitment. The council is made up of equal numbers of school staff (administrators and teachers) and community (parents and students). The council provides direction and approval for state funded school goals and programs. It is a unique opportunity for parents to get to know the staff and student leadership here at Hart. It also allows parents to give input and vote on important decisions and to know what is happening at the school.
The Site Council meets from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. once every quarter of the school year. The meetings start and end on time so the time commitment is minimal!
If you have a child attending Hart, you are eligible to serve as a parent member. We may have a 2-year position open at the beginning of the school year.
If you are interested in serving on the School Site Council, please email Vice Principal Crystal Maglio.
Thank you for your interest in participating in this very important committee.
